"Holmikes"

The Holmike,
a direct reading internal micrometer, measures bores and bottoms
on blind holes. Sizes over .250" (6mm) feature three measuring
contact anvils which are self-centering for true readings. Sizes
under .250" (6mm) use a 2-point "Split-cylinder"
design. Holmikes
over 1" use two sets of anvils so that only six sets are
necessary to cover the range from .080" - 4". All micrometer
anvils over 1/2" (12.5mm) are tungsten carbide.
- Sizes 1/2"
(12.5mm) and up have blind bore capability.
- Ratchet
stop provides constant pressure and repetitive readings.
- Microfine
graduations on satin chrome finished thimble are easy to read.
- Sizes under
.250" (6mm) have .0001" (.001mm) resolution.
- Sizes over
.250" (6mm) have .00025" (.005mm) resolution
- Holmike
range is .040 - 12.0" (1-300mm).
- Holmikes
1" (25mm) and up furnished with 2 sets of anvils; each
set covers one-half the range. No resetting is required when
changing the anvils.
- Supplied
with hardened and ground ring gages (Class X or XX specifications).
- Holmikes
over .250" (6mm) measure to a depth of at least 2.36"
(60mm).
- Extensions
are available for sizes over .250" (6mm).
